FAQ
Common questions
Do you work with organizations outside British Columbia?
Yes. I'm based in North Vancouver and work with organizations across Canada. Remote work is common, and in-person sessions can be arranged when the project calls for them. Travel, jurisdiction, and contract terms are confirmed during scoping.
How do you handle our data during an engagement?
We agree on data handling before work begins. The approach depends on the information involved, your policies, and the tools used. See the Data Handling for Engagements page, and raise any specific requirements before sharing sensitive material.
What if our team cannot maintain what you build?
I plan for ownership from the start. A member of your team works alongside me, and the project includes documentation and handover. If no suitable internal owner is available, we'll discuss that before deciding whether to proceed.
Can we run the assessment as a procurement pilot?
The assessment can support planning and procurement decisions by documenting needs, constraints, and candidate tools. It does not replace your procurement process or any required legal, security, or privacy review.
